My Innovated Classroom

At the beginning of the school year, students come to the classroom with different ideas in their minds about what they are going to do in the classroom. Behavior is one of the things that we all want to keep under control because we want the students to succeed in our classes. If we don't have a good classroom management system, the students will do whatever they want because they want to be in control and sometimes, they make choices that are not good for the class. On the video, Amanda Rose is giving us good, simple tips that are essential to manage the classroom.

Technology is an amazing tool that educators can take advantage of because it is versatile and can be helpful while teaching a lesson. On this video, Mr. Bergman is presenting a variety of tools and strategies that can be used in the classroom. He talks about the pros and cons of every tool that can be used. The video last thirty minutes and it is worth to watch because he explains how it benefits students that are willing to learn beyond the expectations.   Olathe Leadership Lowrider Bike club - Search Results | Facebook   When we think about innovated classrooms, we must have an open mind and think out of the box. The Olathe Leadership Lowrider Bike Club is an example of how teachers can provide a real-life experience to the students. This club was created a couple of years ago by an educator, Mr. Erazo, who wanted to provide the students with the opportunity to do something meaningful for themselves and the community. This club started at Olathe North High School and is expanding to a different area of the nation. 

When we think about innovation, we get excited because we know that we are going to do something extraordinary. Many ideas cross our minds, and we cannot wait to implement those ideas because they are going to make a difference. What about innovation in the school system? What can we do to improve what we see as conventional? On her TED blog, Kate Torngovnick talks about innovation in the school system and what it takes to make it happen. Kate says,  “Innovation in education is about more than just technology.
